Our Independence
There are two types of financial adviser in the UK marketplace; Restricted and Independent. Both will be suitably qualified and will be able to assist you in your financial planning, however the scope of the products and services that are recommended and utilised will be quite markedly different.

A restricted adviser will only be able to offer a limited number of products, generally provided by one, or a limited number of providers which may not be the most suitable, when compared to the rest of the market. An an Independant Financial Adviser (IFA) however, they will be able to explore the whole market to find the most suitable product and as there are no limitations on their scope, their advice could be seen as more impartial and unbiased.

At Armstrongs Wealth Planning, we have over the years been restricted and independant and as such, feel that we have experiences from both angles.

We ultimately made the decision to become an Independent advice firm, as we wanted to be in control of our investment strategy for our clients and be free from offering products to our clients that we deemed were not providing value for money. This ensures that we are committed to finding what we believe to be the right outcome for our client and allows our advice to remain impartial and unbiased throughout.
Please note, investment returns can vary, the capital and income generated cannot be guaranteed.
